How do I make my HP Photosmart 3100 to work? I had to uninstall bug from my laptop, but is now used to the driver disk or driver that I downloaded recognize it from the Internet.

What operating system do you use?
Ahh! I had this problem with HP3180 - HP you will find the folder on the C: drive - delete - then go to Add / Remove Programs and remove any HP software installed - if you reboot and install the software - then close the printer.
I did not have after the update from HP
