Synthetic oil vs regular oil in my Scion TC ? - is it worth paying to change my oil in mini cooper
Scion has 2 oil changes (oil) ... Is it worth more money for synthetic ...? I live in South Florida, where its almost always hot.

Yes, yes it is. Synthetic oils do not break as easily as conventional oil. They are better for your engine, because there is no impurity in the conventional motor oils. His car is relatively new, it should certainly move to synthetic and never look back. Switching later in life from cars can leak into the joints and certain other problems, but that does not sound like a problem for you.
Synthetic oils do a better job of lubricating and protecting your engine than the old oil can.
